Red Phantom Quartz Crystal 10X

Red Phantom Crystals are Quartz with inclusions or phantoms that contain ( Red ) Iron Oxides and in most cases that mineral is Hematite. The inclusions are crystal and multi layer Hematite deposits within a crystal. Phantoms are formed when the growth of a crystal has been interrupted with an intrusion of other elements and then begins to grow again. This change will eventually create this beautiful unique crystal. Hematite and Quartz are both abundant in nature but the combination of both is quite rare. This crystal weighs approximately 10 grams with dimensions of 30mm tall, 17mm deep, and 21mm wide. This Red Phantom Quartz is from the mines of Zambia, Africa and the quartz has a Mohs Hardness of 7.
